THE EXPERIMENTAL CONTEMPORARY ART STATION
– ITINERANT ARTISTIC INCUBATOR –

Co-founded in 2021 and directed by artists and curators Caroline Bravo and Sandrine Follère, the Station Expérimentale d'art contemporain (Experimental Contemporary Art Station) is an itinerant incubator (Paris & regions). Conceived as a living laboratory, it explores the border zones between art, critical thinking, and societal engagement.

Like a free satellite, the Station Expérimentale d'art contemporain settles in diverse locations — art centers, wastelands, institutions, alternative spaces — to activate hybrid artistic forms: manifesto-exhibitions, performative evenings, experimental workshops, cycles of collective reflection. It serves as the incubator for the Hey Mummy! Project, exhibition-event cycles, a flagship initiative on transgenerational transmissions, feminist struggles, collective memory, and invisible resistances.

Committed to major civilizational issues, the Experimental Contemporary Art Station builds bridges between the humanities, contemporary creation, and cultural activism, with the aim of breaking down disciplinary boundaries and perspectives. As a true station of societal observation, it strives to question the challenges of our time: ecological collapse, cultural mutations, traumatic memories, emerging futures, and the reconfiguration of human relationships.

It is a space of research in motion, a point of creative boiling, an artistic response to the urgency of the world.

The green bubble swells, stretches, then bursts with a sharp snap.
That’s what we call bubble gum."

TO BRANCH OFF

"A sudden illumination sometimes seems to alter a destiny.
But illumination is nothing more than the Spirit’s sudden vision of a path slowly prepared."
